We had a great stay at Dylan’s place—it was exactly what we needed for our visit to Yosemite National Park. We’ve stayed at another of his properties in Mariposa in October 2024 and we enjoy it again. The cottage has everything you need to relax after a long day at the park. It’s about 30–40 minutes from Yosemite with lighter traffic, and close to the main street with shops and good restaurants, including 1850 Restaurant. Dylan was attentive and responsive whenever we needed anything. Just what you hope for in an Airbnb!

We stayed here for a few days, very clean and spacious! This is a perfect spot for a getaway from the city, close to Mariposa so you can go into town to purchase groceries, and shop the town a bit but far enough where you get privacy and quiet. The home is just as described in the listing and photos are representative of what you can expect when you arrive. It’s only about an hour drive from Yosemite so if you’re looking to visit the park or vacation we definitely recommend staying here!

Had a very short but great stay to wash off the dust from the national park hikes and recover. Dylan’s place was spotless, peaceful and just what we needed. We spent most of the afternoon sitting in the yard and soaking up some rays and talking. Just to say we felt very much at home! Dylan was super responsive and helpful too although no help was needed. We would love to stay here next time we pass by

The Butterfly Retreat was beautiful! Dylan was extremely helpful with all of our concerns and questions. The rental was tucked back in a private location but was a short walk to bars and restaurants. It was very close to Yosemite which was ideal for our plans. The variety of beds and couches were perfect for our group. Would definitely stay here again! :)

Great place to stay. The kitchen and living room area were standouts here. The kitchen was renovated with a huge sink, electric stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc., and the living room had a massive comfortable couch. The host was very communicative throughout our stay to help out!
